Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor and maintain hardware, software, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and security;
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard against cyber threats;
- Stay updated on the latest security patches and updates for all systems and applications;
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system and network issues;
- Diagnose problems, provide technical support, and resolve hardware or software faults promptly to minimize downtime;
- Configure and maintain virtual private networks (VPNs) and virtual LANs (VLANs) to facilitate secure remote access and network segmentation;
- Conduct thorough research to identify software solutions that align with the company's requirements and objectives;
- Develop comprehensive IT policies and guidelines covering areas such as security protocols, equipment procurement, and replacement procedures;
- Set up and implement backup plans and business continuity plans for system applications and stored information;
- Conduct scheduled maintenance checks on equipment to avoid any undetected faults and unauthorized installations by any staff;
- Maintain proper documentation of licenses, hardware and software inventories and ensure that records are up to date and properly presented;
- Undertake any other IT related assignment that may be given by the manager and/or his/her designate.
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Information Technology;
- 1-2 years related experience;
- Familiarity with Server administration and switches configuration;

- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues;
- Ability to support PCs/Printers/Projectors/IT Peripherals Setup and Maintenance;
