Prudential plc is seeking an IT Governance Specialist to strengthen cybersecurity by overseeing and reviewing technical controls across IAM, baseline hardening, and firewall rule reviews. You will ensure alignment with internal policies and MAS TRM/PDPC regulatory requirements, while supporting audit activities and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes hands-on security work, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing risk mitigation in a financial services context.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in the financial industry is preferred.
• Certification in IT Security such as SSCP, CompTIA Security or CEH is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the IT Assurance lead and take ownership of the Identity access management system (IAM).
• Conduct annual and semi-annual company-wide user and privileged access review and remediation.
• Propose and implement further controls to mitigate access-related risk and issues.
• Plan, prepare and execute annual baseline configuration and firewall rule review exercises.
• Be the liaison point between business and IT staff for baseline configurations and firewall rule reviews.
• Ensure IT risk and security controls are implemented on time in alignment with policies and MAS/PDPC requirements.
• Consolidate and provide evidence for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Ensure IT operations comply with MAS TRM and PDPC guidelines; drive continuous improvement.
