We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to drive payment application projects for our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank. The incumbent should have experience leading the implementation of ISO 20022 standards for the payment application team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end ISO 20022 implementation projects for the bank’s Payment Application systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors, SWIFT, and regulatory bodies) to ensure smooth integration and adherence to ISO 20022 standards.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to governance, regulatory, and security compliance standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal IT teams, and external auditors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance validation.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure timely delivery within cost and quality parameters.
• Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project issues proactively.
• Conduct project post-mortems and continuous improvement reviews to enhance project delivery and governance processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in the banking or financial services domain, particularly in payment application projects.
• Proven hands‑on experience in ISO 20022 implementation / migration projects, particularly involving payment systems or financial messaging platforms.
• Possess understanding / experience with payment messaging standards and systems such as SWIFT, MX, MT, FPS, RTGS, or cross‑border payments.
• Possess understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification will be an advantage.
