The Project Manager - Change Management Specialist

The Project Manager - Change Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the deliverables and the successful execution of projects. This role requires a candidate who is adept at managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations. The individual will ensure that all project outputs meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time and within scope.

The change management role that this position will need to undertake will be for developing and implementing change management strategies that support new/existing data projects, system migrations, and process improvements whilst ensuring minimal disruption to data operations and stakeholder adoption.

Areas of Responsibility
Project Management
  • Lead and manage projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring that impacts are communicated and mitigated effectively.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Change Management
  • Design and implement change management strategies for data platform adoption across NHG.
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and develop targeted communication plans.
  • Lead resistance identification and mitigation activities for data transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver change readiness assessments and organisational capability evaluations.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative leaders on change adoption strategies.
  • Create feedback mechanisms and pulse surveys to monitor adoption progress.
  • Facilitate change champion networks and user advocacy programmes.
  • Support cultural transformation towards data-driven decision making.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of change management experience, with at least 3 years in IT or data-focused environments.
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale data transformation projects such as cloud migrations, data warehouse implementations, or analytics platform rollouts will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, impact assessments, and reporting on change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically with problem solving and design thinking skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver high-impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral) and facilitate complex discussions.
  • Strong capabilities in designing and implementing capability development programs to support workforce transformation initiatives.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure change initiative success.
  • Worked on projects in the health/public services industry for large scale transformation projects.
  • Experience in cloud/data adoption strategies will be advantageous.
