This role involves driving project workstreams, managing cross-functional teams, and addressing complex ERP environments. To lead critical workstreams within our organization’s group-wide SAP Transformation and Implementation program. This role requires a hands-on project management professional who can drive cross-functional teams, ensure delivery to scope, schedule, and budget, and effectively manage risks and stakeholder expectations across a complex ERP environment.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned SAP project workstreams, sub-projects and functions (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Technical Integration).
Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and milestones. Implement contingency strategies to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Lead procurement activities, define tender specifications with stakeholders, manage vendor evaluations, and secure approvals for project scope and funding. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions, Learning/Training Management, Rostering, in-house, and third-party systems. Define communication protocols, documentation standards, and service-level agreements.
Facilitate project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders and steering committees, and manage escalation paths effectively.
Manage project scope rigorously, implement change control processes, and ensure all changes are documented, approved, and aligned with stakeholder expectations. Maintain a centralized risk log with mitigation plans.
Direct and motivate project teams, ensure clear communication, and promote collaboration using agreed tools and processes.
Oversee data migration, testing, training, and change management activities to ensure successful system adoption, with formal sign-offs from stakeholders.
Execute formal project closure, including handover, post-implementation support, and lessons learned reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of project management experience. Experience in large-scale ERP or SAP implementation projects would be an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager).
Good understanding of sales, procurement and/or finance end-to-end processes.
Ability to simplify complex information and processes into clear, concise points that enable effective decisions and actions.
Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
