Job summary

A leading IT services company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to manage and support IT applications and services. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and managing incidents. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in application support and strong communication skills. Knowledge of ServiceNow or JIRA is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in application support, IT operations, or application administration.
  • Experience with application support and monitoring tools.
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or above) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of assigned IT applications and services.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve incidents and problem tickets within defined SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, knowledge bases, and technical runbooks.
  • Provide application support throughout development, testing, UAT, implementation and production.

Job description

The role is responsible for managing and supporting the Authority’s IT applications and services. This includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with SLAs and IT security policies, managing incidents and issues, and working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain system stability and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of assigned IT applications and services.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), IT policies, and security requirements.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve incidents and problem tickets within defined SLAs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, implement preventive measures, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Develop and enhance operating procedures, support guidelines, escalation workflows, and monitoring processes.
  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, knowledge bases, and technical runbooks.
  • Provide application support throughout development, testing, UAT, implementation and production.
  • Assist in system enhancements, upgrades, and change management activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 plus years of relevant experience in application support, IT operations, or application administration.
  • Experience in application support, incident management, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or above) is an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
