GoldPhield is partnering with a client to appoint an IT Manager. This role oversees the company’s overall technology infrastructure, ensuring systems operate securely, efficiently, and reliably.
The IT Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic IT initiatives, provide hands‑on technical leadership, and ensure technology capabilities align with business priorities and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end‑user devices.
- Ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operation of all IT systems, including upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies such as ISO standards & PDPA.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, set performance objectives, and coordinate training programs.
- Manage IT support operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT strategy and solutions with business goals.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to improve operations and efficiency.
- Oversee IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on IT performance, initiatives, and strategic plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT management or infrastructure operations, preferably within enterprise or large‑scale environments.
- Proven ability to lead and develop IT teams while managing complex systems and projects.
- Strong technical expertise in networking, cloud environments (Azure, AWS), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V), and cybersecurity solutions.
- In‑depth understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as PDPA and ISO standards.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, TOGAF, or vendor credentials (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet) will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Highly motivated, resourceful, and proactive individual who demonstrates independence and persistence in achieving goals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of prioritizing competing demands in a dynamic environment.
