St John’s Home for Elderly Persons is a Residential Home under the Ministry of Social and Family Affairs (MSF). We have been providing quality and compassionate care to seniors for over 60 years and will be transiting to a 174-bed Nursing Home under Ministry of Health in 2026.
Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced IT Lead to oversee our technology operations, drive innovation, and ensure seamless delivery of IT services at St John's Home. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. A key focus area will be ensuring compliance with MOH's Healthcare Information Bill (HIB) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to the IT team.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Supervise IT-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost optimization.
- Preventive Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network operations.
- Cybersecurity: Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data, particularly in relation to HIB compliance.
- HIB Compliance: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure St John's Home's IT systems and processes comply with MOH's Healthcare Information Bill (HIB) regulations.
- Team Management: Mentor, train, and develop IT team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
HIB Compliance Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis and develop a roadmap for HIB compliance.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with HIB regulations.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure data privacy, security, and confidentiality.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity.
- Proven project management, leadership, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, particularly HIB.
- Microsoft 365 (MS365) certification: Must be certified in MS365, with expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Microsoft Teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP).
- Experience with healthcare information systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with compliance frameworks and risk management.
