Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead their Operation Service Support team. The ideal candidate will manage all local and global IT infrastructure activities, ensuring quality control over deployments and maintenance processes. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree, at least 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, and proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operation Service Support (OSS) team, managing all local and global IT infrastructure activities in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee new deployments, life cycle management, system support, and application maintenance for IT infrastructure components.
• Ensure quality control in system design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and training.
• Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and set priorities based on allocated budget and resources.
• Establish and maintain sound procedures and best practices for efficient team operations.
• Work closely with global service teams to formulate and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and monitor system performance to ensure stability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist the Head of Department in managing and controlling IT infrastructure budgets.
• Supervise, guide, and develop team members through training, mentorship, and performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Linux (SuSE), Windows, and WAN/LAN environments.
• Proven experience in project management, vendor management, and e‑commerce or manufacturing IT systems.
• Excellent communication, writing, and documentation skills.
• A proactive team player with leadership capabilities and strong problem‑solving skills.
