Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure designs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid systems.
- Define, enforce, and ensure adherence to infrastructure architecture standards and best practices.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, specifications, and security mappings.
- Lead capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, overseeing procurement, integration, and ongoing service performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide guidance on technical solutions, address inquiries, and facilitat[e] informed decision-making.
- Assess change requests and recommend architecture modifications to minimize risk and maintain system integrity.
- Design and implement zero-trust security frameworks, encompassing network segmentation, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and secrets management.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement future‑ready infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture or management roles.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering large-scale projects in Singapore.
- Deep technical expertise in infrastructure technologies, including networking, firewalls, load balancers, backup and restoration solutions, virtualization, hyperconverged systems, cloud-native platforms, and Linux administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE), particularly in air-gapped environments with secure configuration, offline patching, and compliance hardening.
- Advanced proficiency with Cloud-Native technologies and Kubernetes ecosystems, including managed services (EKS, AKS, GKE), enterprise distributions (Rancher, OpenShift), container runtimes (Docker, containerd), and secure secrets management using KMS solutions.
- Solid understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, security protocols, and cryptography.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Security expertise or background is highly desirable.
- CISSP certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
