Job description

Responsibilibities

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Lead administration and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Implement best practices for cloud security, performance, and cost management.
• Integrate and manage hybrid infrastructure combining on-prem and cloud systems.
• Work with 3rd party vendor to operate our multi cloud infrastructure with Azure, 0365 and AWS.

On-Premises Server Management

• Oversee operations of Windows Servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print, WSUS).
• Perform patching, backup, capacity planning, and disaster recovery management.
• Ensure server infrastructure is highly available, secure, and compliant.

Networking & Security

• Manage and troubleshoot networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Support LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and firewall policies.
• Work with information security teams to enforce network hardening, monitoring, and compliance.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and OEMs.
• Oversee contracts, SLAs, and service escalations.
• Ensure vendor services are aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Leadership & Governance

• Lead and mentor a small team of user experience / desktop engineers.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps, policies, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001, MAS TRM, etc.)

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in a lead/managerial role.
• Strong hands-on experience with: AWS Cloud services, Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Networking devices and firewall support (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Expreience in hybrid (cloud + on-premises) infrastructure management.
• Expreience in vendor management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL-based operations and incident/problem/change processes
• Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent would be a plus, Fortinet NSE / Palo Alto PCNSE (preferred)
• ITIL Foundation (mandatory); Intermediate or higher preferred
