Job Position Summary

Lead the Infrastructure team and take overall Ownership & Accountability for all IT Resources, Services and Deliverables within the Organization. Ensure Business continuity with consistent, cost effective operations of systems, network, processes & resources in compliance to corporate guidelines and within the agreed budget.

Job Description
  • Leadership & Strategy – Strategize, Lead and direct all activities related to IT Management - Application Management, Project Management, Solution delivery, Management and Control, Suppliers, Vendors, Contractors, Internal IT Workforce Management.
  • Partnership – Work as a partner with all Internal/External stakeholders, Vendor management. Initiate, evaluate & prioritize projects and process improvements along with business stakeholders. Ensure all deliverables are focused on quality & maximum ROI
  • Project & Risk Management – Manage all projects and ensure the deliverables are ON TRACK and exceeds/meets stakeholder expectations. Ensure project management principles are strictly adhered in all areas including Risk Management.
  • Governance & Security – Ensure information security policies are implemented across all IT functions and strictly adhered. Conduct periodic assessment, identify gaps and ensure relevant resolution are in place and fully compliant as per audit requirement.
  • People & Resource Management – Create a culture of performance and value in technology services. Establish sophisticated control mechanisms for optimum, efficient, rightful allocation & utilization of resources. Set performance goals. Conduct, Caliberate & Close staff performance appraisals as per corporate guidelines.
  • Change Management & Service Excellence – Ensure solution delivered are properly tested and meet specifications and timeline from request to deployment.
  • Budget Management & Cost Control – Prepare and present annual budget to Management team in accordance to corporate guidelines & instructions. Periodically review financial information to ensure all operations are within budget.

A hands‑on role with minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in similar position with broad technical expertise in managing on‑premise and cloud platform (preferably retail industry) & all facets of IT management & technology trends not limited to:

  • Windows operating systems (Windows Active Directory domain structure, Distributed File System)
  • Server & client deployment and management (including server virtualization)
  • LAN configuration
  • SQL database installation and support
  • Wide area network management (knowledge of MPLS, Peplink & link)
  • Router & switch configuration (knowledge of CISCO & Meraki an advantage)
  • Wifi networking (design and deployment)
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure)
  • Office 365
  • DELL/EMC storage (XtremeIO & VNX)
  • Data backup management (knowledge of HyperV replica, VHD, Shadowprotect, Storsimple & SQL DB an advantage)
  • Disaster recovery planning
  • PABX/IP Telephony
  • VPN configuration
  • Security and Firewall management
  • IT budget preparation
  • Vendor management
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering or a related field required
  • Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts, and work effectively and professionally in a team environment
  • Available to work period weekends and off-hours for on‑site support requirements
  • Available for rotational 24/7 on call support
