A leading retail company in Singapore is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead their IT team, ensure efficient operations, and manage key projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of IT management experience, with hands-on expertise in both on-premise and cloud solutions. This role requires strong leadership and budget management abilities.
Lead the Infrastructure team and take overall Ownership & Accountability for all IT Resources, Services and Deliverables within the Organization. Ensure Business continuity with consistent, cost effective operations of systems, network, processes & resources in compliance to corporate guidelines and within the agreed budget.
Leadership & Strategy – Strategize, lead and direct all activities related to IT management - application management, project management, solution delivery, management and control, suppliers, vendors, contractors, internal IT workforce management.
Partnership – Work as a partner with all internal/external stakeholders, vendor management. Initiate, evaluate & prioritize projects and process improvements along with business stakeholders. Ensure all deliverables are focused on quality & maximum ROI.
Project & Risk Management – Manage all projects and ensure the deliverables are ON TRACK and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Ensure project management principles are strictly adhered in all areas including risk management.
Governance & Security – Ensure information security policies are implemented across all IT functions and strictly adhered. Conduct periodic assessments, identify gaps and ensure relevant resolutions are in place and fully compliant as per audit requirements.
People & Resource Management – Create a culture of performance and value in technology services. Establish control mechanisms for optimum allocation & utilization of resources. Set performance goals. Conduct, calibrate & close staff performance appraisals as per corporate guidelines.
Change Management & Service Excellence – Ensure solutions delivered are properly tested and meet specifications and timelines from request to deployment.
Budget Management & Cost Control – Prepare and present annual budgets to management in accordance with corporate guidelines & instructions. Periodically review financial information to ensure all operations are within budget.
A hands-on role with minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in a similar position with broad technical expertise in managing on-premise and cloud platforms (preferably retail industry) & all facets of IT management & technology trends not limited to:
