Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to perform routine checks, manage servers, and troubleshoot incidents. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in Server and Storage solutions, strong knowledge in both Windows and Linux environments, and skills in cybersecurity. This role requires proactive monitoring and incident management in a dynamic IT landscape.

Qualifications

Job description

Perform routine infrastructure checks and maintenance according to IT operations standards.

Monitor daily system performance, traffic, and availability.

Configure and manage servers, storage, and related computing environments.

Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, maintenance, and optimization procedures.

Assist in testing, optimization, and implementation of infrastructure upgrades or changes.

Coordinate deployment of new or upgraded infrastructure components.

Act as the first point of contact for infrastructure-related incidents and perform initial troubleshooting.

Escalate unresolved issues and document incident resolutions in management systems.

Track and report service level performance metrics to ensure SLA compliance.

Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–3 years minimum in deploying and maintaining Server, Storage, and Backup solutions in Windows & Linux environments.
• Server & Database Administration: Microsoft Server, SQL Server, Reporting Server.
• Directory & Remote Services: Active Directory (AD), Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Email Systems: Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
• End User Computing (EUC): Configuration and support.
• Networking: Network and perimeter security, WAN connectivity management.
• Cybersecurity: Vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation, network monitoring, system updates, and patch management.
