Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support site technology operations and ensure uninterrupted infrastructure performance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role involves collaboration with IT, automation, and engineering teams, along with vendor management for systems and network reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support site IT operations to maintain 100% availability of robotic systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT, automation, and engineering teams to manage changes, incidents, and upgrades effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to remediate infrastructure issues and implement upgrade or improvement projects.
- Manage vendors for network equipment, server hardware, and electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work closely with global leads, program managers, and stakeholders to plan, estimate, and deliver digital initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to IT security, data integrity, and compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations within a regulated (GxP) manufacturing environment. (Pharma/Biotech)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional global teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent IT service management tools.
- Background in vendor management and IT project financials.
- Exposure to data center, server, and network administration.
- Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with data analytics or robotic process automation tools.
- Experience working in large, global, matrix-based organizations.
