Job summary
A leading telecommunications company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage Telco/ICT projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT experience and a professional project management certification. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing customer relationships, and ensuring project delivery to high standards.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of IT experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience in Telco and IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers and vendors at a senior level.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Telco/ICT projects following Project Management Methodology.
- Lead project team members to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Provide pre-sales support for RFPs.

Education
Degree in Computing or Technical or Engineering domain
Professional certification in Project Management, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or CITPM
Responsibilities
- Management of assigned Telco/ICT projects and transitions complying with Project Management Methodology
- (PMM) that covers Initiation, Define, Organise & Plan, Implement & Control and Handover & Closure.
- Lead the project team members (matrix reporting) that are key to the successful delivery of the projects.
- Manage change to project scope and schedule to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Record risk and issue and timely escalation to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Communication to stakeholders and project reporting.
- Help the team members to resolve conflicts and interface problems within the project and ensure successful delivery of the project.
- Manage customer relationship during the projects through strong governance.
- Provide pre-sales support for RFPs by preparing Gantt chart, customized response for bid questions and presentation on Project Management to potential customers.
- Provide regular updates on progress of the project to the customers.
- Provide weekly/monthly project status reports to management.
- Ensure that customer projects are completed with high quality and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Provide Project Completion Handover Documentation to customer.
- Facilitate project handover to maintenance team.
Skills for Success
- CAT 1 clearance required
- Degree in Computing or Technical or Engineering domain
- At least 10 years of IT experience in a multi-disciplinary environment (e.g. Data Centre Operations, Network, Storage, Server, Middleware, Cloud, CyberSecurity) in a customer fronting role or At least 5 years of Project Management experience in Telco and IT infrastructure environment.
- Professional certification in Project Management, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or CITPM.
- Demonstrates ability and proven track record of working with customers and 3rd party vendors at Senior & Executive Management level.
