Overview
Reports to: Senior Manager (IT)
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Server & Infrastructure Administration
- Maintain, configure, and monitor Windows servers (on-prem & cloud) to achieve 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and Azure AD
Patch & Compliance Management
- Drive patch automation and reporting to maintain high compliance levels
- Conduct server hardening and vulnerability remediation for internal/external audits
Automation & Efficiency Improvements
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and reporting
- Optimize system operations to reduce manual workload
Security & Monitoring
- Monitor security tools (M365, Symantec) and respond to alerts
- Support incident resolution (L3), coordinate with vendors for escalations
Network & Endpoint Support
- Support network upgrades, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage endpoints
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure operational continuity
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Prepare SOPs, change logs, and incident resolution steps for governance and continuity
Project Support
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects (server refresh, M365 migration, network upgrades)
- Ensure minimal downtime during migrations and upgrades
Qualifications and experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Digital Technology, Computer Science
- Experience: Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industry.

Infrastructure & Server Management
- Windows Server Administration (2016–2019) – AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware
- Patch Management: PDQ Deploy and inventory, WSUS – automation & compliance tracking
Automation & Scripting
- PowerShell (patch deployment, reporting, automation of repetitive tasks)
- Python & Bash for process automation and monitoring
- ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management
Endpoint & Security Management
- Endpoint lifecycle management
- Security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and audit preparation
- Exposure to Carbon Black, Symantec DLP
Networking & Collaboration Tools
- TCP/IP troubleshooting, switches/routers configuration, VPN
- O365 Administration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive access management)
Soft Skills
- Strong documentation & SOP creation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Team collaboration across infra, dev, and security teams
