Overview

Reports to: Senior Manager (IT)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Server & Infrastructure Administration
  • Maintain, configure, and monitor Windows servers (on-prem & cloud) to achieve 99.9% uptime
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and Azure AD
Patch & Compliance Management
  • Drive patch automation and reporting to maintain high compliance levels
  • Conduct server hardening and vulnerability remediation for internal/external audits
Automation & Efficiency Improvements
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and reporting
  • Optimize system operations to reduce manual workload
Security & Monitoring
  • Monitor security tools (M365, Symantec) and respond to alerts
  • Support incident resolution (L3), coordinate with vendors for escalations
Network & Endpoint Support
  • Support network upgrades, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage endpoints
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure operational continuity
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
  • Prepare SOPs, change logs, and incident resolution steps for governance and continuity
Project Support
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects (server refresh, M365 migration, network upgrades)
  • Ensure minimal downtime during migrations and upgrades
Qualifications and experience
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Digital Technology, Computer Science
  • Experience: Requires 1-3 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industry.
