Overview
As an IT Executive, your role supports the daily IT infrastructure operations across local and regional offices, with a primary focus on end-user support. You will be the first point of contact for end users, providing timely technical assistance, supporting IT systems and infrastructure, and assisting with ongoing IT projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and end-user support within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- End User Support & Maintenance
- Provide timely IT support to end users across local and regional offices, including desktop, laptop, and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Respond promptly to IT inquiries and incidents, ensuring issues are resolved within defined service levels.
- Track, document, and maintain records of end-user issues and resolutions.
- Server & System Support
- Support and monitor servers and systems to ensure operational stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues and assist in maintaining system health.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including baselines, configuration changes, and change requests.
- IT Projects & Ad-hoc Support
- Assist in implementing IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, replacements, and new deployments.
- Provide ad-hoc technical support as required for business or project needs.
- Ensure all project-related activities are properly documented.
- Network Devices Support
- Provide basic support and troubleshooting for network devices and connectivity issues.
- Monitor network health and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain network-related documentation and records.
Your Skills
- Competent in end-user support and troubleshooting (CompTIA A+) and Windows Server operations and support.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Virtualization) will be an advantage.
Your Profile
- Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant IT administrator experience, preferably in end-user or infrastructure support roles. Familiar with Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, EPP and EDR, Windows Servers and Hypervisor. Eager to learn, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with setting up, racking, or moving IT equipment when required.
