Responsibilities


  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing operations and define the role of IT in supporting and optimizing factory processes.


  • Review and assess existing IT infrastructure and processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.


  • Drive forward‑looking IT strategies by developing roadmaps, planning future system integrations, and identifying emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains innovative and competitive.


  • Organize meetings with key departments to gather IT requirements and align technology initiatives with business objectives.


  • Identify and recommend opportunities for automation, intelligence, and process optimization to drive operational excellence.


  • Plan, manage, and oversee the organization’s cybersecurity strategy to safeguard systems, networks, and data, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.


  • Champion Industry 4.0 initiatives by leveraging IoT, automation, and smart technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and digital transformation.


  • Design and implement a centralized data platform to consolidate information from multiple systems, enabling advanced business analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.


  • Engage with external vendors to evaluate, plan, and implement technology initiatives and solutions.


  • Kickstart and oversee vendor engagements to ensure timely execution and alignment with business needs.


  • Oversee ERP systems management, ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous improvement to support business operations and decision‑making.


  • Plan and revise IT infrastructure and processes to ensure suitability, scalability, and security in a manufacturing environment.


  • Actively participate in system migration projects, including calls, workshops, and reviews, to ensure smooth transitions and alignment of processes.


  • Review and update existing IT policies to meet compliance, operational, and security requirements.


  • Conduct workshops and communication sessions to promote IT awareness and facilitate adoption across the business.


  • Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure, processes, and policies, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption.


  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT infrastructure, processes, and policies, recommending improvements as needed.



Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.


  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.


  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.


  • Proven experience in IT system migration, process redesign, and technology implementation.


  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and drive outcomes.


  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.


  • Ability to work independently while providing leadership through influence and expertise.
