A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Executive for a 6-month Mid-Career attachment. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, support channel partners, and use government grants to facilitate sales. Applicants should have 1–3 years of business development experience and excellent communication skills.

Job description

This position reports to the Director and interfaces with Orgainsation Project Management team. Responsibilities
  1. Hunting New Business: Proactively identifying and closing deals with new channel partners and key SME accounts.
  2. Selling Business Outcomes: Using proven case studies to sell solutions based on ROI, efficiency gains, and growth, not just technical features.
  3. Fostering Partner Success: Focusing on enabling and supporting channel partners by providing them with the tools, training, and strategies they need to achieve their own business growth objectives.
  4. Leveraging Government Partnerships: Utilizing the company\'s IMDA and PSG accreditations as a key tool to facilitate and accelerate sales.
  5. Building a Partner Network: Developing and managing a ecosystem of resellers to expand market reach and drive revenue.
  6. Collaborating for Success: Working with technical and pre-sales teams to design and demonstrate tailored solutions that win deals.
Technical Skills and Competencies
  1. Core Product Suite Proficiency: Mastering the features and business value of our ERP, CRM, and mobile solutions.
  2. Government Grant Framework Expertise: Navigating and explaining subsidies like IMDA\'s PSG to reduce client costs.
  3. Security & Compliance Acumen: Understanding and promoting our ISO 27001 certification alignment and data security protocols.
  4. Integration & API Knowledge: Learning how our systems connect with others (e.g., PEPPOL e-invoicing) for seamless workflows.
  5. Data-Driven ROI Analysis: Using analytics and case studies to build custom business cases and quantify value.
  6. Industry-Specific Pain Point Mastery: Applying our company solutions to critical challenges in verticals like wholesale and retail.
Requirement
  • GCE N Level above or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work within deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
