We are heavily inclined towards building capabilities collaboratively with clients and believe strongly in improving grounded and practical outcomes. This approach is possible through our partnership with leading global technology providers and internal R&D teams. Our clients come from Financial Services, Banking, Telco, Government, Healthcare, and Consumer-oriented organisations.

We are seeking a talented and driven IT Business Analyst to join our regional IT team, supporting a critical payment system that processes domestic transactions for corporate clients. This role is integral to ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time while collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business units to gather, analyze, and document requirements for payment system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and identify dependencies or potential impacts across systems.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with system capabilities.
  • Proactively monitor and address risks or issues related to project scope or requirements.
  • Partner with offshore testing teams to develop test cases and validate test results, ensuring accurate fixes are implemented before deployment.
  • Analyze and classify testing findings, determining whether issues are defects or change requests, and manage them accordingly.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, working with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions or workarounds.
  • Manage and prioritize outstanding change requests and defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with business teams.
  • Provide Level 3 support for production incidents, analyzing root causes and resolving complex issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge bases related to the payment system’s features and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in payment systems implementation with expertise in business analysis methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of payment and settlement systems in the Asia Pacific region (e.g., RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll).

  • Familiarity with TCS BaNCS Payments is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in project and change management principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
  • Experience in SDLC and Agile development practices.
  • Technical knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, and IBM WebSphere Application Server is a plus.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and management of a payment system that plays a vital role in regional operations. If you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, we’d love to hear from you.
