Job summary

BDO LLP is seeking a capable IT Audit professional to plan, coordinate and perform audits of financial and other applications, including IT controls and software development lifecycle processes. You will document work, identify risks, and draft formal audit reports with clear observations and recommendations.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy or IT, strong communication, teamwork, and familiarity with MS Office and Power BI/IDEA. Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, IT or related fields.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with MS Office and data analytics tools (Power BI, IDEA) preferred.
• Knowledge of IT applications like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and perform IT audits of financial and other applications including the General and Specific IT controls, audits over software development lifecycle and data migration procedures based on BDO Methodology.

• Prepare detailed documentation on audit work carried out.

• Drafting of audit reports including observations, risks and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, IT or related fields.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in team.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, word, power point, Visio, outlook) and data analytics tools like Idea and Power BI would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of IT Applications like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. would be an added advantage.
