Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team as an IT Assistant Manager where you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance and governance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team and oversee the deployment of critical IT systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN and VPN network systems for head office and project sites.
  • Plan and coordinate the setup of IT infrastructure for new project sites with contractors and vendors.
  • Develop, enforce, and review IT policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and security standards for compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor 4 outsourced IT Helpdesk staff, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
  • Oversee IT procurement, vendor management, and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets across all sites.
  • Implement security measures and conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to safeguard company data.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including availability during critical incidents and non-office hours.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Assistant Manager role.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, governance, SOP development, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, ERP systems, and project collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard office hours as needed.
