Job Descriptions
The Candidate must possess experience in providing Level 1 and Level 2 support (for application systems) to end-users that includes:
- Grants and reactivate access rights for user accounts via requests raised in a ticketing system.
- Assist with system testing and verifications following infrastructure changes and system patches.
- Liaise and follow up with external vendors on Level 2/3 support for troubleshooting issues/incidents and software development for change requests.
- Ensure all reported incident tickets and service requests meet the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform maintenance tasks and documentation reports in periodic and/or unplanned manners (ad-hoc requests), as follows:
- Generate reports for user access, application reviews, and other statistics purposes.
- Perform User management and KPI management tasks.
- Prepare production deployment for bug fixes and system enhancements.
- Monitor schedule jobs / interfaces and follow up with remedy actions when necessary.
- Conduct housekeeping of system logs and project documents when necessary.
- Perform other operational and administrative tasks as assigned or required.
Skills required
- 4 years experience in involving operational support and maintenance activities.
- 2 years hands‑on work experience in Relational Databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Able to perform gathering user requirements, communicating proposed vendor solution, supporting user acceptance testing, supporting end‑user training, and resolving issues with helpdesk agents and external vendors on Warehouse/Procurement Management Systems.
- Prefer to have hands‑on work experience in RabbitMQ and Redis message‑broker implementations, or other Message Broker technologies
- Prefer to have working experience for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including web services integration using REST based web services.
