The IT Application Engineer will play a key role in supporting and optimizing the company's IT applications and systems. This position requires a versatile individual with a strong foundation in business analysis, project management, and technical application support. The IT Application Engineer will ensure the efficient functioning of enterprise applications, provide support for various platforms (including database management, UiPath RPA, SharePoint, MS Teams), manage vendor relationships, assist with audits, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to enhance the business processes, maintain system integrity, and ensure that business and IT requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:
- Analyze business processes and requirements to provide effective technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform gap analysis to determine areas for system improvement and optimization.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of business cases for IT projects.

Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate IT projects from planning through to execution and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and business stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and scope to ensure successful project delivery.

Application Support:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for critical applications, including database management, UiPath RPA, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or optimizations.
- Ensure application integrations work seamlessly across different platforms.

Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers.
- Coordinate vendor activities, including procurement, contract management, and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to ensure services meet business needs.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve issues related to service delivery or performance.

Internal Audit Support:
- Assist internal auditors in gathering relevant information and preparing documentation for audit processes.
- Ensure that IT processes and controls comply with internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve potential compliance issues related to applications and systems.
- Provide support during audit reviews and contribute to the implementation of audit recommendations.

SOP Documentation:
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for application support, IT systems, and related processes.
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for system operations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Ensure all SOPs are up-to-date and aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
- Provide training to internal teams on SOPs and application usage.
Key Requirements

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT application support, project management, or business analysis.
- Experience with database management, RPA (preferably UiPath), SharePoint, and MS Teams is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

- Proficiency in business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proven experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for application and system issues.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes or other IT service management frameworks.
- Experience with process documentation and SOP creation.

- Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with automation tools (such as UiPath or similar RPA tools).
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Basic understanding of networking, cloud services, and IT security principles.
