Job Summary

The successful candidate will responsible for validating the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications and systems through well-defined testing processes. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet business requirements, industry standards, and user expectations before release.

This role is based in Tampines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed test plans, test scripts, and testing strategies based on product specifications, business requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases to evaluate functionality, performance, security, and reliability across various environments.
  • Identify, analyse, and document defects using defect-tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Verify that all deliverables meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and regulatory or compliance criteria.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to review requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and address testing issues.
  • Participate in all testing phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Pilot/Parallel runs, and Go-Live validation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, procedures, results, and progress reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Continuously review and enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration, and performance testing).
  • Hands‑on experience with QA tools, test management systems, and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, or equivalent).
  • Ability to analyse test results, troubleshoot defects, and provide clear and actionable feedback.
  • High attention to detail and a great commitment to delivering defect‑free solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks or scripting languages (preferred).
