Job summary

SANMINA-SCI SYSTEMS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is recruiting an IPQC Supervisor to lead the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of in-process quality gates in PCB manufacturing.

You will balance technical oversight with people leadership to ensure products meet high standards of precision, accuracy, and reliability while growing the IPQC team. You will manage Quality Systems & Process Management, standardize procedures, analyze data for improvements, and guide the IPQC team

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any field or > 5 years experience in PCB manufacturing in Quality role.
• Experience in PCB-related industries would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001/TS16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, 8D.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance and control systems for IQC, IPQC and related labs.
• Standardize methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating products.
• Gather and analyze technical data to drive quality improvements.
• Lead day-to-day IPQC team activities and staffing decisions.
• Provide training and development to build team capability.
• Set performance goals and conduct evaluations for direct reports.

Job description

The IPQC Supervisor role is responsible for the strategic development,implementation, and maintenance of in-process quality gates. This position balances technical oversight with people leadership, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of precision, accuracy, and reliability while fostering the growth and efficiency of the IPQC team.

Responsibilities:

1.Quality Systems & Process Management

• Develop and Maintain Systems: Design and oversee technical quality assurance and control systems to ensure product integrity at IQC, IPQC - Chemical, Microsection Lab.
• Standardization: Define and specify the implementation of rigorous standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products.
• Data Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing technical data to identify trends or areas for quality improvement.

2. Team Leadership & Performance

• Operations Management: Manage day-to-day team activities to ensure the efficient operation of the IPQC function.
• Staffing & Development: Lead staffing decisions, including the selection and hiring of personnel. Provide ongoing training and professional development to build team capability.
• Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, conduct evaluations, and manage the performance of direct reports to ensure high output and accountability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment and manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
  

3.Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Microsection Turn Around Time (TAT) : Continuous improvement of TAT in meeting both internal and external stakeholders..
• Training Matrix: 100% compliance in operator cross-certification schedules.
• D-Note Aging: Meeting strict deadlines for the closure of discrepancy documentation.

About you:

• Degree or Diploma in any field or > 5 years experience in PCB manufacturing in Quality role.
• Prior working experience in PCB-related industries would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge on quality system ISO9001/TS16949,SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, 8D Report.
• Ability to interpret technical data andtranslate findings.
• Proven ability to manage a team, including mentoring, conflict resolution and performance coaching.
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with engineering and product support teams.
• Familiar with Microsoft office software including Word and PowerPoint.
• Good presentation skills to present the KPI data performance to management.
