Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL Singapore is seeking a Hardware Intern to support IoT hardware development under the guidance of a senior engineer. You will contribute to designing, prototyping, and testing in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Electrical/Electronics degree with strong analytical and communication skills, comfortable working in a team, and familiar with MS Office; firmware tasks may be included if you have firmware knowledge.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering related degree.
• Good analytical skills and self-motivated.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of common development tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronics development tasks for IoT hardware under supervision.
• Design block diagrams.

Job description

Role Summary

Performs hardware development for IoT use cases / products under supervision of a senior engineer

Main Tasks

• Hardware intern responsible performing electronics development tasks, that can include
• Designing block diagrams
• Creating schematics
• Build prototypes
• Testing- automated testing if candidate has scripting knowledge
• Firmware development can be included if candidate has firmware knowledge

Internal & External Working Relationships

• Co-ordinate other engineers
• Liaise with colleagues at various levels, both local and foreign
• Support discussions with external suppliers (only when assigned)

Experience

• Undergraduate or graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering related degree
• Good analytical skills and self-motivated
