Job summary

Internsg is offering an on-site internship in Singapore focused on IoT device deployment and automation. You will assist with installation, configuration, testing of edge devices and sensors on manufacturing equipment.

You will gain hands-on experience in pneumatic and electrical hardware, data collection, and debugging, while collaborating with a data science team to ensure data quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic programming skills in Python, C/C++ or Arduino.
• Basic understanding of electronics and circuits; able to read simple schematics.
• Hands‑on lab experience with tools such as a multimeter.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

• Interest in industrial automation, IoT or semiconductor manufacturing
• Willing to work on‑site in production environments

Nice to Have

• School or personal projects with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors or microcontrollers
• Exposure to PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)
• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232/RS485, Modbus, MQTT, TCP/UDP)
• Basic Linux experience
