Job summary

sggovterp invites applications for a Lecturer role where you will inspire students beyond classroom teaching, recognising their potential and nurturing lifelong learning. You will design engaging curricula and supervise hands-on IoT projects that connect theory with real-world applications.

You will undertake industry or consultancy projects to stay current, maintain strong links with industry and schools, and facilitate industry attachments to update skills, knowledge and practices.

Qualifications

• Trained in Internet of Things and Electronics with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to develop IoT applications and work with Lora/Zigbee and other communication protocols.
• Proficient in Linux and programming languages such as Python and C.
• ROS knowledge would be advantageous and exposure to cloud data visualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and facilitate learning while nurturing students' potential.
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay industry-relevant.
• Maintain strong linkages with industry and schools.
• Support opportunities for industry attachments to update skills and practices.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentorship.
