Full-time | Hybrid / Remote friendly | Reports to CEOAbout the company
A fast-moving investment firm that provides structured financing solutions for short-term, self-liquidating commodity flows. They combine private-credit discipline with trade-finance mechanics to offer auditable, hedged exposure for institutional and high-net-worth investors.
The role (what you’ll own)
You will lead the capital-raising function end-to-end: build and run a high-quality investor pipeline, convert institutional interest into committed capital, and steward investors after close. This is a commercial, investor-facing role — you will not run trading, credit, or warehousing operations, but you must be able to speak credibly about them.
Key responsibilities
Map and prioritise target channels (family offices, private-bank platforms, alternatives allocators, insurers/pension allocators) and run a disciplined outreach cadence.
Design and maintain investor materials and a tidy data room (teaser, deck, FAQs, due-diligence pack, performance exhibits).
Manage the process from first approach to subscription: meetings, documentation, KYC/AML coordination and staged closes that build market momentum.
Lead platform submissions and navigate institutional approvals; negotiate distribution economics with an eye to long-term platform health.
Run investor communications post-close (regular updates, quarterly letters, ad-hoc requests) and manage renewals/follow-ons.
Maintain an “objection bank” with concise, referenceable answers for common diligence questions.
What we’re looking for
8+ years (up to 20) of proven experience raising capital or distributing alternatives/private credit/trade finance to professional investors, with a track record of closed commitments.
An active network across family offices, PB/wealth platforms and institutional allocators; credibility with gatekeepers and investment committees.
Strong fluency with institutional diligence (DDQ/ODD, track-record exhibits) and comfort guiding platform approvals.
Numerate, precise and persuasive — able to defend fund mechanics and risk posture to sceptical committees.
Excellent written communicator and confident presenter; rigorous about CRM hygiene and calendar/follow-up discipline.
Bonus: familiarity with cross-jurisdictional distribution pathways or language skills relevant to Asia/ME.
What success looks like (high level)
A clean, staged investor pipeline; consistent conversion from interest → diligence → commitments.
Predictable investor reporting rhythm and a growing, diversified LP base.
Efficient cost-of-raise and healthy platform economics.
Compensation & incentives
Competitive base salary plus performance-linked incentives (tiered fees on net new funded capital and carry/milestone rewards).
