Our client, a renowned investment firm with a rich history, is seeking a seasoned professional to drive growth in their evergreen solutions across the Asia Pacific region. As an Investment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering business development, product innovation, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert market and product knowledge to support sales efforts in client and prospect meetings.
- Collaborate with Investor Relations teams to engage with private wealth prospects, clients, and institutional investors, showcasing our market expertise and solutions.
- Engage in high-level discussions on business and investment topics, demonstrating a deep understanding of the investment landscape and market trends.
- Develop creative solutions to client challenges, considering broader business implications and optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on key competitors, fundraising trends, and industry developments.
- Gather market feedback from Private Wealth and Investor Relations teams, analyzing insights to inform product development and content creation.
- Project manage the sales opportunity set and go-to-market strategy in the Asia Pacific region. Act as liaison point for all evergreen collective sales efforts, organised across various regional teams for the product.
- Partner with the Investor Relations team to serve as the main point of contact to arrange calls/ meetings, follow-ups, comprehensive investment knowledge, identity and address concerns and provide guidance through diligence.
- Educate internal teams on product and strategy, ensuring a unified understanding.
- Oversee critical client-facing materials, such as RFPs and portfolio updates, and collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that promote evergreen solutions.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in private markets, private equity, and wealth management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset
- Ability to work independently and think entrepreneurially
- Strong academic and professional credentials, with an MBA or CFA a plus
- 10+ years of investment or product roles with a client service orientation. An investment research background is a plus.
- Must have a blend of product leadership, investment capabilities and commercial sense.
- Relevant backgrounds include product specialist for liquid products, investment banking, private equity analyst or private equity deal experience.
- Based in Singapore, with regular global travel expected.
