MAS Monetary Authority of Singapore seeks an investment performance specialist to join the team responsible for evaluating and reporting the performance and risk of the foreign reserves investment portfolio.

You will report on portfolio performance, attribution to decisions and market drivers, and present findings to senior management while contributing to improved processes, methodologies, and analytics using new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret investment data.
• Meticulous with data accuracy and integrity.
• Well-organised with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and with teams.
• Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset and openness to new technologies.
• Singapore citizenship is required for this role due to the sensitive nature of work.

Responsabilités

• Oversee computation and validation of investment returns at asset class, portfolio, and total levels.
• Analyse performance and attribute returns to decisions and market drivers.
• Prepare and present investment performance and risk reports to senior management and investment committees.
• Collaborate with custodians, fund administrators and portfolio managers to ensure accurate reporting.
• Review and recommend improvements in return calculation methods and benchmarks.
• Enhance analytics by developing dashboards and onboarding new tools and processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting using data analytics, AI and emerging tech.
• Contribute to technology initiatives, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.
