Job summary

METRICA PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an analyst/associate-level Investment Professional fluent in Korean and English to contribute to investment research and governance campaigns.

The role requires 3–5 years of investment banking or equity research experience and interaction with South Korean companies. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Native or business-level Korean and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investment research into Asia-Pacific listed companies, communicating with C-suite in English and Korean and building financial models.
• Assist with creating materials to explain analysis and support recommendations in both Korean and English.
• Assist with corporate governance campaigns across Asia-Pacific, liaising with external parties to drive campaign effectiveness.
• Create content for and maintain website and social media channels to support communications in both Korean and English.
• Travel to attend conferences and meetings, in both Korean and English.
• Assist with execution of orders and booking of trades into portfolio management systems.
• Monitor news and developments affecting the firm’s investments.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks reflecting a small-team environment.

Metrica Partners Pte. Ltd. is a dynamic and growing Singapore-based investment management firm committed to delivering exceptional performance for our clients.

We are seeking an analyst/associate-level Korean and English-speaking Investment Professional to contribute to our continued success. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience of investment banking and / or equity research with a strong interest in corporate strategy and governance.

This position requires native or business-level fluency in Korean and English as this role will require interaction with companies in South Korea. Candidates not meeting this requirement will not be contacted.

Responsibilities

InvestmentResearch and Engagement

1. Assist with research into investment opportunities in Asia-Pacific listed companies, including communicating by email and by telephone with C-suite company representatives in English and Korean, building financial models, monitoring news sources and regulatory filings, liaising with sell-analysts etc.
2. Assist with creating materials to explain analysis and support recommendations in both Korean and English.
3. Assist with corporate governance campaigns across Asia-Pacific, for example by liaising with external parties (legal, proxy advisory, media) to drive campaign effectiveness and engagement.
4. Create content for and maintain website and social media channels to support communications objectives in both Korean and English.
5. Traveling to attend conferences and meetings, which could be in both Korean and English.

Assistancewith Portfolio Management

1. Assist with execution of orders.
2. Assist with booking of trades into portfolio management systems.
3. Monitor news and other developments that may affect the firm's investments.
4. Perform other ad-hoc tasks reflecting the nature of working in a small team.
