Job summary

State Street Corporation in Singapore is seeking a Client Manager within the APAC-focused AOPM unit to service our client base. The role demands outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, and proactive initiative.

You will engage with investment professionals, auditors, lawyers and banking personnel, manage client expectations, and support governance on client deliverables with a focus on private market services.

Qualifications

• A college degree in business, mathematics, finance or economics and 3-5 years of experience, including 1-3 years independent accounting / P&A / financial reporting.
• Client service experience with institutional clients preferable.
• Experience in the private equity/real estate industry preferable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, positive, can-do attitude, meticulous are essential.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Primary client touch point for State Street Private Market Solution on the assigned client.
• Manage client expectations with designated client contacts and their vendors.
• Manage internal workflow to ensure client requests and SLAs are met.
• Review and/or prepare client related correspondence.
• Maintain working relationships with investment professionals, investors, auditors, lawyers and banking personnel.
• Participate in special client or internal projects as required.
• Lead and represent the business area as a domain expert to provide sales support.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an exceptional individual to become our Client Manager within the AOPM (Asset Owner Private Market) business unit of State Street servicing our APAC client. The Client Manager interacts with all levels of professionals both internally & externally. Therefore, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously handle multiple assignments. AOPM business provides document management, cash management, valuation, look through and transparency services, as well as performance & analytics reporting in addition to day-to-day accounting and administration service, in alternative investments space. Experience in any or all of the above areas is preferred.

Client service experience with institutional clients is preferable. Experience in the private equity/real estate industry is preferable. Strong interpersonal skills, positive, can-do attitude, meticulous are essential. Strong computer skills are required, especially Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
