Job summary

GoldenRidge Investments Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Investment Manager to partner with the CIO in managing a multi-asset portfolio, covering equities, fixed income and alternatives, through the full investment lifecycle.

You will conduct research, support asset allocation, portfolio construction and performance monitoring, deliver investment recommendations, and help implement the family office's strategy within risk parameters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field; CFA/MBA preferred.
• 7–12 years of investment experience in asset management, family offices or private banks.
• Experience across multiple asset classes; multi-asset exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of markets, instruments, portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and reporting skills; familiarity with portfolio analytics and risk systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to present to senior management.

Role Overview

The Investment Manager will work closely with the CIO in managing the Family Office's multi-asset investment portfolio, covering equities, fixed income and alternative investments. The role involves the full investment lifecycle, including investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, execution and performance monitoring. The individual will identify investment opportunities, provide investment recommendations and contribute to the implementation of the overall investment strategy in line with the Family Office's investment objectives and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Strategy & Research

   • Support the CIO in developing and implementing investment strategies and asset allocation across multiple asset classes.
   • Conduct macroeconomic, market and sector research to identify investment themes and opportunities.
   • Evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental research, financial analysis, valuation and due diligence.
   • Develop investment theses and provide recommendations based on risk-return assessments.

2. Portfolio Management & Execution

   • Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment execution and portfolio rebalancing.
   • Monitor investment performance, portfolio exposures, liquidity and risk across asset classes.
   • Review existing investments and recommend portfolio adjustments, reallocation or exit strategies where appropriate.
   • Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and performance reports against relevant benchmarks and objectives.

3. Investment Risk & Governance

   • Identify and monitor key investment risks, including market, credit, interest rate, foreign exchange and liquidity risks.
   • Ensure investment activities are aligned with approved investment guidelines, mandates and risk parameters.
   • Support investment governance, policies and reporting, and participate in Investment Committee discussions.

4. Investment Platform Development

   • Contribute to the development of investment management processes, research capabilities, portfolio monitoring and reporting infrastructure.
   • Build relationships with external fund managers, financial institutions, brokers and other investment partners.
   • Undertake investment-related projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the CIO.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7-12years of relevant investment experience within asset management, family offices, institutional investors, or private banks.
• Experience in analysing and managing investments across one or more asset classes, with multi-asset exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and reporting skills; familiarity with portfolio analytics and risk systems. Python proficiency is an advantage.
• Good understanding of global macroeconomic developments and their impact on investment portfolios.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment views and recommendations to senior management.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a lean, dynamic investment environment, while collaborating effectively with the CIO and other stakeholders.
