Job description

We are seeking an Investment/Financial Analyst to support Investment Operations Department’s research and investment projects covering business units of logistics services, commodities marketing, financial services and engineering services. This role is of group level and will gain exposure to working with senior executives and investment professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide support for Investment Operations Department on various matters including analyze and collect operational and financial data, investigate data trends and patterns and handle business documents, etc.
  • Liaise with Business Units, Legal and Finance Departments to gain in-depth understanding of business models of each Business Unit;
  • Monitor operating status of subsidiaries, conduct analysis and prepare report for superior;
  • Facilitate communication with both internal and external stakeholders regularly;
  • Participate in preparing presentation and other related materials for decision making and reporting purposes;
  • Perform other ad-hoc or administrative duties as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with strong data analysis and report writing skills, prior experience in finance or investment is preferred;
  • Proficiency in MS Office application, especially in Excel and PowerPoint is a must with strong Chinese writing skills;
  • Audit experience in international audit firms or Big 4 is an advantage;
  • Independent, flexible, great sense of responsibility & able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills withgood command in spoken and written Mandarin and English;
  • Candidates with less experience will also be considered
