Temasek, a global investment company based in Singapore, is seeking a 12-month contract role within the Innovation team to identify venture and growth opportunities, build financial models and present investments to committees.

You will conduct sector research, model returns, structure investments and collaborate with portfolio partners, analysts and cross‑functional teams, bringing rigorous analysis and strong communication to the investment process.

Qualifications

1–2 years of full-time experience in venture capital/private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
Strong financial modelling capabilities (operating, valuation and return models).
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

Identify sectoral developments and assess fund and direct-investment opportunities in early-stage and high-growth sectors.
Conduct research and financial analysis on assigned sub-sectors and companies.
Develop financial models and presentations for internal evaluation and investment committees.
Structure and execute new fund and direct investments as well as divestments where appropriate.
Monitor portfolio assets and new investments against investment theses.
Build and maintain relationships with companies, fund partners, researchers and other institutions; travel as needed.
Assist with regular portfolio reporting and firm-wide strategic initiatives.
