Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to support investment processes and provide portfolio analysis. Responsibilities include monitoring investments, preparing reports, and researching ETF markets. Ideal candidates will have excellent academic qualifications, passion for investing, and some relevant experience. Knowledge of basic coding and ETFs is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of working experience in asset management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with fund products, particularly ETFs, is an advantage.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Monitoring of existing investments: changes in fundamentals, and market performance
  • Supporting the investment process and helping to develop and optimize portfolio construction framework
  • Compiling performance data and performing portfolio analysis and benchmarking
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting documents
  • Will also be required to help support preparation for pitches for new investment mandates
  • As part of support for our firm’s range of ETF products, you may also be required to provide ongoing research and insights on ETF markets, and compile performance data and reports for routine reporting. You would have the chance to help develop new products in this space.
Qualifications

Excellent academic qualifications in any discipline and passion for investing. Interest in the investing discipline expressed through current pursuit of programs such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program would be favourably viewed.

0-3 years of working experience in asset management, corporate/business development, investment banking, auditing, corporate finance, consulting, operational and/or other related backgrounds.

Familiarity and experience with fund products, in particular ETFs, would be an advantage.

High level of interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.

Ability to work well within diverse teams and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.

Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
