A leading investment firm in Singapore is looking for an Investment Analyst to provide analysis support for acquisitions and projects. The role involves building cash flow models, conducting market research, and preparing investment analysis materials. Ideal candidates should hold a relevant degree and have 1-3 years of experience, particularly in cash flow modelling. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is essential due to project requirements. This position demands strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Highly numerate and understanding of investment and valuation concepts preferred.

Job description

investment analysis support to the investment team for CDLs investments/ acquisitions opportunities and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Build and run cash flow models on acquisition opportunities and asset/fund management.
  • Assist in investment forecast, sensitivities, and all analytics.
  • Ensure cash flow models are accurate, in standard/robust format and reflect realistic assumptions.
  • Organize and present supporting materials for investment analyses including investment committee memoranda.
  • Conduct research on market, industry, and competitors.
  • Assist in investment management process, including formulating asset level strategies to maximize investment returns.
  • Liaisewith relevant counterparties and service providers during due diligenceincluding lawyers, tax advisors, building surveyors, etc.
  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and sharing of all transaction files.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree in economics, finance, real estate, statistics or quantitative subjects.
  • Min 1-3 years relevant working experience preferably with cash flow modelling experience.
  • Highly numerate and understanding of investment and valuation concepts preferred.
  • MS Excel competency and good report writing skill required.Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • A team player as well as ability to work independently.
  • Analytically inclined, detail oriented and organised with focus on deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be effectively bilingual in both spoken and written English and Chinese as this role support our projects in China.
