Job Summary:

As an Investment Advisor at United Overseas Bank Ltd, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing expert financial advice, and developing tailored investment strategies to help them achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, identifying their financial needs and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including risk assessments, financial planning, and investment suitability evaluations.
  • Propose and implement customized investment strategies across a diverse range of financial products, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and structured products.
  • Monitor client portfolios regularly, providing performance reviews and recommending adjustments as market conditions or client circumstances change.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed and timely advice.
  • Collaborate with internal product specialists, wealth planners, and other relevant departments to deliver holistic financial solutions.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies, ensuring ethical and responsible client service.
  • Actively participate in business development activities, including client acquisition and referrals.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports and proposals to clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. CFA or CFP designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or a related client-facing financial role, preferably within a reputable financial institution.
  • Proven track record of success in managing client relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with sophisticated clients.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, portfolio management systems).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant regulatory licenses and certifications as required by local financial authorities.
