What the role is:

As an Investigation Support Officer, you will be part of a team supporting the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD)’s operations, which is essential in helping CAD achieve its mission of preventing, deterring and detecting financial crime. The Investigation Support Officers (Assets Management) provide critical investigative support to enable CAD to conduct investigations and manage and realise seized assets more efficiently and effectively. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.

What you will be working on:

• Manage and oversee the procurement of services required, draft procurement paperwork and evaluate quotations
• Work closely with appointed vendors/ their subcontractors to ensure that the physical assets are accounted for, regularly maintained and properly valued, supervise, track the vendors’ progress in their provision of services and handle all related administrative matters including accurate and timely status reports and invoicing
• Monitor and track progress of project milestones, ensure proper collection and accounting of public monies after disposal of assets and prepare status updates for senior management/at designated milestones.
