Job summary

A Human Resources Consultancy in Singapore is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage inventory processes and ensure accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities include overseeing stock levels, leading inventory stock takes, and analyzing product sales. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a related field and a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

Job description

Position title: Inventory Controller
Location: Nearest MRT: Boon Lay
Working Days: 5 days Mon - Fri
Working hours: 8:30am -5:00pm
Salary: $3000 - $4000

Job Description
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Maintain and monitor closely on monthly safety stock level to cater to order requests
  • Lead yearly inventory stock take
  • Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes
  • Review and monitor products for discrepancies troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
  • Prepare, generate, and file inventory reports to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and reduce operations costs
  • Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues
  • Liaise with forwarder or courier service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfil orders
  • Perform other and ad‑hoc duties & responsibilities as assigned by the by the Superiors
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
  • At least 5 years working experience in a related field
  • Experience in valves, pipe & fittingsB
  • Proficient in Ms Words /Excel / Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system is a Plus
