A leading recruitment firm is looking for an Inventory Governance Lead to manage the entire inventory process in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and involves stock optimization and reporting tasks. Ideal candidates will possess relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management, have 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, and be proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel. This position offers a competitive salary in a dynamic work environment.
Inventory Governance: Lead the end-to-end inventory management process, including stock levels, replenishment cycles, and data integrity within the ERP system.
Stock Optimization: Monitor stock movement patterns to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and provide data-driven recommendations for procurement.
Audit & Reconciliation: Organize and oversee regular cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall stocktakes to ensure zero variance between physical stock and system records.
Quality & Compliance: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure all incoming hardware (valves, pipes, etc.) is stored according to industrial safety standards and API/ISO requirements.
Reporting: Prepare monthly inventory valuation reports, shortage alerts, and performance KPIs for the management team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Procurement departments to ensure stock availability for urgent project tenders and export shipments.
