Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Operations or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of logistics/inventory control experience.
  • Experience in Life Science/Clinical Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Experience with SAP EWM and ECC.
  • Experience with Data Analytics Tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently.
  • Team player with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily inventory operations, timely cycle counts, stock movements, and reconciliation.
  • Manage inventory scrap and reporting (Expired, Warehouse damage).
  • Analyze inventory data to monitor turns, DOS, accuracy, and health.
  • Implement and manage SOPs for Inventory Management & DC operations.
  • Identify gaps and improve data integrity and processes with cross‑functional teams.
  • Develop and track KPIs using data visualization to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with DC Ops, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, Planning and IT.
  • Provide data analysis and documentation for audits including SOX and inventory waivers.
  • Assist on onsite projects and SAP configuration/testing for new features.

Position Summary

As an Inventory Control Analyst at Bio‑Rad, you will play a critical role in supporting Singapore Distribution Center (DC) operations, ensuring accurate inventory management through periodic cycle counts, reconciliation and management & audit reporting.

You will also lead data analytics initiatives that will transform and optimize DC inventory and distribution processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Manage daily inventory operations by ensuring timely execution and accuracy in cycle counts, stock movements and inventory reconciliation in Singapore Distribution Center
  • Manage inventory scrap and reporting (Expired, Warehouse damage etc.)
  • Analyze inventory and operational data to monitor turns, DOS, accuracy, and inventory health
  • Implement and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Inventory Management & DC operations
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies and data inconsistencies in inventory processes, partnering with the relevant functional teams to strengthen data integrity and process robustness
  • Develop and track business metrics and KPIs using data visualization and analytics platforms to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including DC Operations, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, Planning and IT to ensure seamless operational and materials flow
  • Provide inventory data analysis, and documentation required for internal and external audits, including SOX, inventory waivers, and compliance reviews
  • Assist on onsite operational and other projects, as needed
  • Support SAP system configuration, testing and deployment for new features or enhancements, as needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Operations / Engineering (eg. Industrial Mechanical, Material Science) or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics within a similar industry, with a focus on logistics operations and/or inventory control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience within Life Science & Clinical Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Experience with SAP EWM & ECC
  • Experience with Data Analytics Tools
  • Advanced proficiency of MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Detail oriented self‑starter with ability to work independently
  • Team Player
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Proficient in Mandarin is a plus
