Job Description
- Facilitate real-time spoken communication interpretation to help individuals overcome linguistic barriers and communicate effectively.
- Handle on-demand telephone or video calls, providing consecutive interpretation between the source and the target tongue.
- Quickly and accurately process spoken information while maintaining cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and courtesy.
- Apply appropriate industry-specific terminology and demonstrate familiarity with standard procedures across various sectors.
- Interpret conversations ranging from simple to complex topics in fields such as healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, emergency services (911), law enforcement, legal proceedings, and general business.
Requirements
- Qualification Minimum GCE O levels and above
- Demonstrates good listening, memory, and note-taking abilities to ensure high accuracy in interpretation.
- Maintains focus and neutrality during conversations, remaining objective and detached from the dialogue.
- Quickly builds trust and credibility with clients through professional conduct and clear communication.
- Follows client instructions precisely and consistently throughout the interpretation process.
- Explains cultural nuances when necessary to prevent misunderstandings, with client.
- Fully equipped to work remotely on a permanent basis.
