As an Equities Derivatives Intern, you'll work closely with traders and business stakeholders to support trading activities, enhance analytical tools, and develop innovative solutions that drive business performance. Your responsibilities will include:
The Equities Derivatives team is part of Global Markets and focuses on delivering trading, risk management, and investment solutions across equity-related products. You'll work alongside experienced traders and professionals who manage market risk, develop trading strategies, and leverage technology to enhance performance. You will also gain exposure to sales teams and business support functions, providing a broad understanding of how different teams work together to deliver value to clients and the business.
Open to learning and feedback Strong interest in financial markets, trading, and quantitative analysis Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Proficient in VBA and Python Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Comfortable working with large datasets and analytical models Good understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts Knowledge of C# would be advantageous Strong communication and presentation skills Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment Able to collaborate effectively within a team Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree.
