Job Title: Internal Auditor (Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute internal audits across Group entities within Southeast Asia, West Asia, and Oceania.
• Perform risk assessments, develop audit strategies, leverage data analytics, and identify key risk areas during the audit planning phase.
• Conduct fieldwork and evaluate internal controls, processes, and compliance, providing clear, practical, and risk-based recommendations.
• Prepare and present audit findings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and follow up on audit action plans to ensure timely remediation of identified issues and risks.
• Maintain high-quality audit documentation and workpapers in accordance with Internal Audit methodologies, standards, and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, programs, processes, and data analytics capabilities to improve audit effectiveness.
• Identify and implement opportunities to utilize technology and data-driven insights to strengthen audit efficiency and coverage.
• Provide advisory support on governance, risk management, internal controls, and SOX-related initiatives where required.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to drive best practices in governance, compliance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or Accounting functions, preferably within multinational organizations.
• Experience or understanding of the Shipping, Maritime, or Logistics industry would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and identify practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia, West Asia, and Oceania regions.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, proactive, and resilient mindset with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
