Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking an Audit Assistant to conduct operational and compliance audits across Singapore. The role involves fieldwork at multiple sites, reviewing documents, and identifying compliance gaps.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or equivalent and has 1 year of auditing or compliance experience. Travel across Singapore is required, with standard 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM hours and occasional adjusted hours for evening sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and compliance audits based on criteria and checklists.
• Test compliance and internal controls against regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Perform process walkthroughs, document reviews, interviews, and site observations.
• Carry out audit fieldwork at driving schools, test centres, and other locations in Singapore.
• Review supporting documents and audit evidence for accuracy.
• Identify factual observations and potential compliance gaps.
• Follow up on past audit findings and verify corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate working papers, documentation and reports.
• Address review comments and coordinate with the audit team for timely completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security and evidence-handling rules.

Job Details

• Salary: Up to $5,500/month

• Contract Duration: 3 months (1 December 2026 – 28 February 2027)

• Working Days: Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays

• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Location: Ubi / Various locations across Singapore

Selected evening audit sessions may be required, with adjusted working hours (e.g. 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM).

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct operational and compliance audits based on established audit criteria and checklists.

• Perform compliance and internal control testing against regulatory, licensing and contractual requirements.

• Conduct process walkthroughs, document and transaction reviews, interviews and site observations.

• Carry out audit fieldwork at driving schools, test centres and other assigned locations across Singapore.

• Review and verify supporting documents and audit evidence.

• Identify and document factual audit observations and potential compliance gaps.

• Follow up on previous audit findings and verify corrective actions taken.

• Prepare accurate audit working papers, supporting documentation and factual reports.

• Address review comments and work closely with the audit team to ensure timely completion of assignments.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with established security and evidence-handling requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent relevant qualification.

• Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience in auditing, compliance, internal controls, operational assurance or investigations.

• Relevant audit or assurance certification is advantageous.

• Experience conducting audit fieldwork, reviewing records or preparing audit documentation is advantageous.

• Able to conduct structured interviews, document evidence and prepare clear factual observations.

• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.

• Meticulous, objective and able to work independently.

• Willing to travel between assigned locations across Singapore.
