Job summary

Marina Bay Sands invites a data analytics intern to help drive data-based decisions by creating insightful reports and dashboards. You will design impactful visualizations to communicate complex ideas, automate reporting pipelines, and apply analytics techniques to boost efficiency and campaign ROI.

The role offers hands-on experience with large datasets, collaboration with stakeholders, and the chance to contribute to ongoing business analytics initiatives in a dynamic hospitality environment

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, SAS EG, R or Python for data analysis.
• Ability to process large data sets accurately and timely.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive data-based decisions through creation of insightful reports and dashboard
• Design impactful data visualization/dashboards to communicate complex ideas in Data Visualization Tools
• Automate reports and dashboard by creating data pipelines
• Apply analytics techniques in improving operational efficiency, campaign ROI and understanding customer behavior
• Generate new ideas on how to improve processes for our team, or our stakeholders

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Related academic disciplinesin Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or other analytical fields preferred.

Experience

• Programming skills using analytical tools such as SQL, SAS EG, R or Python is required.

Other Prerequisites

• Ability to process massive amounts of data and complete critical projects in a correct, accurate and timely manner.
• Excellent communication, writing, presentation, statistical and data analysis skills.
• Able to commit to full-time work arrangement from Mondays to Fridays throughout the internship.
